The Connecting Europe partners gathered in Patras, Greece from February 8-9, 2023 for their 3rd transnational project meeting. Hosted by p-consulting.gr, the group held two days of workshops and discussions to advance the project outputs.

On Day 1, the partners worked on fine-tuning the skills matrices of Project Result 2, including exploring how sending and hosting partners can collaborate to identify, evaluate, and recognize students’ skill development during mobilities. In the evening, they explored Patras and strengthened team bonds over dinner.

Day 2 featured an “escape room” team building activity, followed by planning how to maximize student learning outcomes in mobilities through joint preparation. The partners then aligned on expectations for the visual design of the outputs and next steps for finalizing the virtual course and skills tools.

The meeting provided valuable time to refine the outputs and ensure they will effectively support VET mobility students. The partners left Patras united in their mission to help connect students across Europe through quality virtual preparation and visible skills recognition.

After months of dedication and hard work, the Connecting Europe team is excited to pilot the materials in the coming months and gather final feedback from end users. The countdown is on for the project’s completion and launch of the free online resources for mobility participants across the VET sector.
