The Connecting Europe partners held their 4th and final transnational project meeting in Galway, Ireland on October 4-5, 2023. Hosted by Galway and Roscommon Education & Training Board, the group gathered for two productive days of workshops and discussions to put the finishing touches on the project outputs.

On Day 1, the partners reflected on the progress made so far on Project Result 1, the virtual preparation course for mobility students. After team building activities, they finalized tips for improving communication and cultural understanding to support students abroad.

Day 2 focused on testing and refining the online skills tools of Project Result 2. The partners explored additional ways to identify competences gained during mobility and make them visible through partner agreements and mobility certificates.

In addition to the work sessions, the team enjoyed exploring Galway and celebrating their successful collaboration over the past two years. While bittersweet, the meeting gave a sense of accomplishment and motivation to finish strong.

We left Galway unified and ready for the upcoming piloting phase where we’ll gather feedback to ensure the outputs best serve the needs of students, sending institutions, and hosting organizations across Europe. The Connecting Europe team is proud of what we have achieved together and look forward to officially launching the project results soon.
