Connecting Europe project partners, held our 2nd transnational meeting from October 5-6, 2022 in Bilbao, Spain. Hosted by GTI, our group gathered at Hotel Barceló Nervión to drive progress on our project’s two main outputs.

On the first day, we focused on developing content for Project Result 1 – the virtual preparation course for Erasmus+ mobility students. We outlined information to help students adapt to work placements and daily life in each of our partner countries.

The second day involved planning the online skills matrices and self-evaluation tools of Project Result 2. We aligned on the aims, content, and usability of these materials to identify, evaluate, and recognize formal and non-formal skills gained during mobility.

In addition to our productive sessions, we explored the sights of Bilbao and strengthened our collaboration over meals at local restaurants. We left energized to continue developing the outputs to support VET mobility students across Europe.

The meeting allowed our team to advance toward our goals and pave the way for piloting the materials with students in the coming months aiming to have functional versions of the preparation course and skills tools ready for testing soon.
